R.U.S.H. student ministries began in 2002 at our old location on Torresdale Ave. Since then God has blessed in a tremendous way in our Youth Group and added many young people from all different walks of life and backgrounds. R.U.S.H. simply means Run Until You See Him, and was designed to remind teenagers constantly to run the race of life for Jesus Christ until His return. Our theme verses come from Hebrews 12:1-2- “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

We love our church- Maranatha Baptist Church, and take seriously the call we have as young people to “let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12).

Our Student Ministries meet every Sunday morning for Sunday School at 10:00am, on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm for the Wednesday Evening R.U.S.H., and weekly for fun activities and devotional times. We also participate annually with the Young Ambassadors for Christ Multi-State Camps in the Winter and Summer. Every activity and gathering are designed to equip teenagers to be all they can be for the Lord Jesus Christ who gave His life for us.

We would love to have you as part of the R.U.S.H. student ministries. If you have any questions about our ministry or would like a visit from Pastor Chris Teis, our Youth Pastor, you can call the church office at 215-338-9535 or email him personally at pastorchris@rushteens.com
